Technology to Support Wheelchair Users

Abstract
Thailand is going to be an aging society in near future. As a result, the number of wheelchair users is increasing. Both the government and private sector have put an emphasis on providing increased services and support to help wheelchair users to be able to live with other people on an equal basis. Preparing beginning wheelchair users and their caretakers and disseminating knowledge about wheelchair users, are important for mutual understanding and appropriate supporting. Technology is an important mechanism in exploration and dissemination of knowledge in our present digital era, being a medium of information and communication that can be accessed from anywhere through smart phones and tablets.
